Rhythm Guru — help and FAQ

1. On the Home screen tap Add Your Song (the + card), then Pick your song.
2. Choose Files (browse Files or share an audio file into Rhythm Guru from any app — the fastest way) or On this phone to scan your device music library. Supported: MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, up to 10 minutes.
3. Wait about a minute: the game analyses the audio, finds the song structure and builds all five difficulties (Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, Expert+). You can keep using the app meanwhile.
4. Play it right away, or open it in the editor to move, add or delete notes and adjust the grid offset with the metronome.
5. Tap Publish to Community when you want other players to see it. Published maps collect ♥; past 100 ♥ your map becomes RANKED and awards pp, same as licensed songs.

Free accounts get a monthly allowance of generations; Premium removes the limit. The current allowance is shown on the Add Your Song screen.

Until you publish it, a map is private — only you can play it. After publishing it appears in Community and gets its own leaderboard. Maps may be removed if they break the Platform Rules or after a valid copyright notice.

Every song has one: open the song, and the Leaderboard block under the difficulty chips shows the top players; tap it for the full board with World, Country and Friends tabs. Your overall standing (World # and Country #, total pp, ranks collected) is on your Profile. Country leaderboards need a country set in Profile or Settings.

Each play gets a rank from D to SS by accuracy (SS is all-perfect). pp (performance points) are awarded for plays on official catalog songs and on RANKED community maps; your best plays add up to the pp shown on your profile and on the world ladder.

Every day the Home screen offers a daily song. Play it to keep your streak; the flame on your profile grows through Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond tiers the longer the streak lasts. Reminders can be turned on in Settings.

In the app: Settings → Delete account. Without the app: follow the steps on the Delete account page. To delete specific data without closing the account, see Delete data.

Premium removes ads forever, lifts the generation limit and adds status perks. Gameplay itself — every song, every difficulty, every leaderboard — is free, with no energy system and no paywalls. Ads never interrupt a song.

Open the Premium screen and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same App Store / Google account used for the purchase. If it still does not restore, email us the purchase receipt and your nickname.

Yes — songs you have downloaded stay playable without a connection. Scores sync to the leaderboards when you are back online.
