Description

Short. Rhythm Guru is a free mobile rhythm game that turns any song on your phone into a playable level. Pick a track, let the game build five difficulties in about a minute, polish it in the built-in editor, publish it to the Community — and compete on world, country and friends leaderboards with D–SS ranks and pp. Easy to start, hard to master.

Long. Feel the music under your fingers. Rhythm Guru is a fast, colorful tap-rhythm game where every note lands on the beat — easy to pick up, hard to put down. Play a curated catalog of high-energy tracks with hand-tuned maps, five difficulties per song, and a daily song with streaks. Add any song from your phone and the game builds all five difficulties in about a minute; fine-tune every note in the built-in editor, publish to the Community and collect ♥ — the best maps get RANKED and award pp. World, country and friends leaderboards on every song; ranks from D to SS; challenge a friend and settle it on the scoreboard. Every piece of art is hand-drawn by humans; the game is free to play with no energy systems and no paywalls on gameplay, offline mode for downloaded songs, and an optional Premium that removes ads forever.

Features

History

Rhythm Guru started from a simple wish: custom levels for your own music, like the ones PC rhythm-game communities make — but without a desktop editor, with the phone reading the music itself. The client is built in Unity; the map generator runs on the studio's servers and went from a beat-detection prototype, through a neural-network note placer, to a rules-based arranger that reproduces patterns mined from hand-made reference maps. The 5.0 generation of the game added community maps, RANKED status and pp, a daily song with streaks, friends and challenges, and a fully redrawn hand-made art style.

Release dates and milestones: TBD — to be confirmed by the studio.
