Own Song Challenge — official rules

Rules

1. Organizer. The Own Song Challenge (the “Challenge”) is run by Doctor Games, the developer of Rhythm Guru (doctor-games.com). Apple and Google are not sponsors of the Challenge and are not involved in it in any way.
2. Period. From 20 October 2026, 00:00 KST (19 October 2026, 15:00 UTC) to 31 December 2026, 23:59 UTC (the “Period”).
3. Who takes part. Any Rhythm Guru player who, during the Period, publishes to the Community a map made from their own song (Home → Your Music → Add Your Song → Publish). No purchase is necessary. Maps must follow the Platform Rules; maps removed for breaking them, or after a valid copyright notice, do not count.
4. Reward for every participant. Each participant receives Premium for 1 month.
5. Top 3. Among the maps published during the Period, the three maps with the most ♥ (hearts) received during the Period are the top 3; if two maps have the same number of ♥, the one published earlier ranks higher. The author of each top-3 map receives Premium for 1 year. Each author is counted once, by their best map, so one author cannot take two top-3 places; rewards for one account do not stack. We may exclude maps or ♥ obtained through multiple or fake accounts or other manipulation.
6. How rewards are delivered. Rewards are added to the participant’s Rhythm Guru account within 7 days after the end of the Period. Premium is the same as in the game: no ads plus Premium status perks. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
